This time of year gets tough, we spend all year trying to lose weight and become healthier – and all of a sudden it's hot, the holidays are coming, we are exhausted and we are in two frames of mind
We have a couple more weeks to feel more comfortable in the pool
Why the hell bother now?
People find it strange when we tell them that the month of December is actually our busiest time of year, and January is one of our quietest for nutrition services. I think it’s a good thing. Putting your health off until the New Year is automatically setting yourself up for failure!
I love starting clients right before Christmas because we are able to help them navigate the silly season, without putting themselves 10 steps backwards, and show them that they are still able to have fun and indulge a little!
After all, if we have 4 weeks until Christmas, lets say you have your work Christmas party and your partners, plus Christmas Day and boxing day… out of 35 days… there is only 4 that you know probably wont go to plan….. that still leaves you more than 20 days to start making some happier, healthier changes!
Live is there to be lived too, it doesn’t mean you have to miss out or restrict yourself, its simply about working smarter! And lets face it… if your telling yourself you will start again in the New Year…. Have a think about the last few years and if it has worked in a positive way for your mental and physical health.

What You Can Do
At Aussie Supps Nutrition Hub, we have an in-house qualified nutritionist that can provide you with a healthy diet plan that's personalized to your body and goals.
We use the principle of calories for all our meal plans, with some clients tracking, but most clients using simple serving sizes instead! Meaning you get to pick and choose foods you like and enjoy, but without having to track it all every day!
Remember, if your goal is to lose weight, your health matters more than a number on a scale. It's always important to maintain a holistic approach to weight loss. It should also include physical activity, stress management, quality sleep, and other important factors, such as hormones and medical issues.
