Scientists of the study, conducted their research to prove that whole wheat products are way better compared to boxed pastas and white breads. Researchers discovered this after studying the health improvement observed among the study’s subjects.

According to the researchers, people who chose whole wheat pasta and bread drastically reduced the portion sizes of their meals. This suggested that whole grains helps in making individuals feel fuller at a faster rate. At the same time, adding whole grains in meals enabled their subjects to lose considerable weight.

Interestingly, the study revealed that incorporating whole grains into individuals’ diet lessened different sorts of bodily inflammation, and lowered the risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes.
