Scientists of the study, conducted their research to prove that whole wheat products are way better compared to boxed pastas and white breads. Researchers discovered this after studying the health improvement observed among the study’s subjects.

According to the researchers, people who chose whole wheat pasta and bread drastically reduced the portion sizes of their meals. This suggested that whole grains helps in making individuals feel fuller at a faster rate. At the same time, adding whole grains in meals enabled their subjects to lose considerable weight.

Interestingly, the study revealed that incorporating whole grains into individuals’ diet lessened different sorts of bodily inflammation, and lowered the risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes.

The best part? This simply means that you can just choose whole wheat pasta instead of swapping it with spinach or zucchini. However, remember that the key is moderation. You may add grains into your diet, but use appropriate portions as this will increase your carbohydrate content dramatically - correct portions are essential!
